Park Hill
Park Hill covers some 120 acres and is situated close to East Croydon station. The city merchants came to this part of Croydon a century ago and built large mansions which have since been replaced by smaller homes more suited to modern day living, such as flats, maisonettes and townhouses. The homes on Park Hill provide a secluded but spacious environment. Careful planning has provided many lovely landscaped areas and generous off street parking for residents.
East Croydon station serves the area and has frequent services to central London, Gatwick and the south coast. The Tramlink is also now in the area which connects Croydon to Beckenham and Wimbledon. The extension for the east London tube line to West Croydon is also currently under construction.
Central Croydon's extensive shopping facilities are within walking distance of Park Hill, as well as the Fairfield Halls and the Croydon Clocktower Cultural Centre.
