Edmund Waller Primary School held their Winter Fair on Saturday 4th December, sponsored by Pedder. The sunny (but chilly) weather held, which was great as the whole event was outside to be in line with Covid protocols. Parents visited the school the day before to decorate the school grounds and on the day local crafts and Xmas trees were sold on the site, while parents helped on stalls to sell mulled wine and run a Winter themed BBQ to help forget the cold, all while listening to the school choir. Lewisham Fire Station came to the event and showed the children round the engine much to their delight. Santa even paid a visit with his fully stocked grotto! The children and families all had a wonderful time raising money towards the school PTA. The funds raised are so helpful and rewarding for the future happiness of the children.
