“The Dulwich Village Church of England Infants’ School 2023 Summer Fair, was held in brilliant sunshine, to the delight of all. Many hot dogs, cocktails, ice lollies, cakes, cones of popcorn and sweets were consumed. Children and adults alike were entertained with the DVIS Fair classics, the lucky dip, hook-a-duck, splat the rat and shoot the tin can, the lollipop game and guess the sweets in the jar. The ‘Summer Surprise Sacks’ and the teddy and bottle tombola’s proved as popular as ever and many doughnuts were decorated and then devoured. All against the background noise of the fairground ride and our fabulous inhouse parent band. Thanks to the generous support of Pedder, this summer fair raised a record £7.5k for the school which has made a significant contribution to the costs of resurfacing the Lake building playground area.”
