Residential Sales Vacancies

We are always on the lookout for dynamic, professional, and customer orientated residential sales professionals who are passionate about property, and who are looking to excel in their career within the industry. Previous experience in residential sales is desirable for this role, however we will consider motivated Graduates looking for a career in Estate Agency.
 
Key duties:

  • Qualifying potential buyers, identifying their needs and matching them to suitable properties.
  • Viewing properties, negotiating offers, liaising with solicitors and mortgage brokers and delivering the highest levels of customer service to buyers and sellers alike.
  • To maximise the sales income for the branch, by securing as many sales as possible that follow through to completion.  
  • To maximise on securing valuations for the branch at every opportunity, through canvassing, applicant registration and closing an appointment.
  • To maintain positive and professional relationships with all clients at every stage through to completion.
  • To work individually to exceed your targets as well as supporting your team to become the market leader in your area and meet the overall office target.
 Salary and benefits (the below is a guide and will depend on the applied and level of experience):

  • Basic salary + commission (basic salary dependent on role applied)
  • Generous guaranteed commission for your first 3-months of employment
  • Tiered commission structure based on an achievable and exceedable annual target

Residential Lettings Vacancies

We are looking for dynamic, professional and customer orientated residential lettings professionals who are passionate about property, and who are looking to excel in their career within the industry. Previous experience in residential lettings is desirable for this role, however we will consider motivated Graduates looking for a career in Estate Agency.

  • To maximise the lettings income for the branch, by securing as many lets/starts as possible that follow through to completion.  
  • To establish strong relationships with landlords, acting in a professional capacity at all times, and offering a high level of service that exceeds other agents.  Go the extra mile for your landlords/ applicants.
  • Liaise with potential tenants in order to identify their needs and match them to suitable properties.
  • Understand and work in line with current lettings legislation, as well as Pedder best practices.

We are looking for dynamic, professional and customer orientated Portfolio Managers who are passionate about property, and who are looking to excel in their career within the industry. Previous experience in residential lettings or Property Management is desirable for this role, however we will consider motivated Graduates looking for a career in Estate Agency.
 
Key duties:

  • To be efficient and proactive in managing your own portfolio, responding to all Landlord and Tenant queries in a timely manner.
  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance of the portfolio to ensure all properties are maintained to a high standard.
  • Carry out regular inspections and produce inspection reports.
  • Ensure the properties comply with the health and safety requirements in line with updated legislation.
  • Serving of relevant notices as required.
  • Dealing with Tenancy renewals and all relevant paperwork and communications as relevant.
  • To support the front office in maximising the lettings income for the business.

Residential Sales & Lettings Vacancies

Our focus at Pedder is providing outstanding service, and if you join us you’ll be joining a highly successful company with an amazing team of experienced sales and lettings consultants. Our Administrators are the heart and soul of our offices. We recognise the vital role that they play in providing administrative support for both our sales and lettings divisions. Whilst experience in estate agency is not essential, we do ask that you only apply if you have had previous administrative experience.
 
Key duties:

  • To work in partnership with the sales and lettings consultants in your allocated office, providing administrative support as required.
  • To answer phones, greet clients, register applicants, and take a proactive approach in supporting your team in full.
  • To ensure all lettings files are updated and complete prior to submission to the Property Management team.
  • Input and update property and client information into the company database and relevant portals, in accordance to Pedder Best Practice and GDPR guidelines.
  • Producing and submitting legal documents and agreements.
  • To be fully conversant with the complete referencing procedure and all documentation required to action a tenancy.
  • Maintain office diary management.
  • Responsibility and accountability (alongside Branch Manager) to ensure offices are immaculate and tidy, have an organised display area, are well presented with updated window displays, and that any maintenance or issues are reported promptly to the Property Management department.

Saturday Support Roles

We require a number of reliable and motivated part-time support staff to support us on a Saturday only.

You must be able to work well in a fast paced environment, manage a busy diary, have excellent communication skills, and understand the importance and impact of high-quality customer interactions.

Office based support:

  • Registering new applicants for both sales and lettings.
  • Preparing paperwork for the sales and lettings team as required.
  • Updating property information on the relevant portals.
  • Greeting clients into the branch and providing a welcoming and positive office environment.
  • Field telephone calls, taking accurate messages and ensuring that are dealt with promptly.
  • Diary management – arranging viewings and booking appointments.
  • Be aware of the office portfolio and current stock.
  • General office administration.
  • To act in a professional capacity at all times, offering a high level of service.
  • Go the extra mile for clients and applicants.
  • Ensuring the office is opened and closed securely.
Viewing Specialist:

  • Supporting an assigned office by carrying out effective pre-arranged viewings on local properties.
  • Having expert knowledge of the local area, including transports links and amenities.
  • Working closely and directly with Branch Manager to understand Pedder best practices and USPs. It is expected that you will be a catalyst for property offers/deals.
  • Providing detailed post-viewing feedback and any important follow up information to the Branch Manager for handover to the FT team or for the purpose of an offer.
  • Updating relevant company systems/portals where expected/requested.
  • Ensuring that a high level of customer service is always delivered, and that you understand the importance of a friendly and professional first impression.
  • Be a champion of our brand and services at all times.
  • There is a requirement to drive/own a vehicle for this role.
